Linen
Oatmeal and air. Almost nothing, arranged carefully.
Linen is the one with nothing on it. Headings sit in a rail down the left and the text runs beside them, with a great deal of space and no decoration at all. It is the design for somebody who finds the others too much.
Its cover is a small weave of threads, one pink and one blue among the grey, and opening it unpicks the cloth: each thread is drawn out along its own length, the two coloured ones together and last, and then the cover's own rows are pulled out one at a time.
Underneath, **nothing moves**: the page is simply there once the cloth is gone, which is the restraint the whole design is built on.

What you can make with it
Every design works for all four occasions, and the same page carries a family through them: a gender reveal, a baby shower, a birth announcement, then a first birthday — at one address, keeping the photographs, the messages and the guest list.
