Privacy

Last updated 19 August 2026

The short version. Invitation pages carry no analytics, no advertising tags and no tracking cookies. We do not sell anything about anyone, and we do not use what guests write to train anything or to market to them.

If you replied to somebody’s invitation, you can ask us directly to change or delete it. You do not need an account, and you do not have to go through the family to do it.

Who we are

tinynewlife is run by tinynewlife, from Kosovo. You can reach us at tinynewlife@gmail.com, which is a mailbox a person reads.

We are the controller for the personal information described here. Our supervisory authority is the Information and Privacy Agency of the Republic of Kosovo, under Law No. 06/L-082 on the Protection of Personal Data.

If you replied to an invitation

You do not have an account here and you will never be asked to make one. When you reply to a page, we store what you typed into the form so the family can read it:

  • the name you gave, and an email address if you chose to give one
  • whether you are coming, how many of you, and the names of anyone you named
  • anything you wrote in the dietary notes or the message box
  • your pink-or-blue guess, if the page asked for one
  • a message you left in the guestbook, if you left one
  • a scrambled code standing in for the internet connection you sent it from. It is one-way — it cannot be turned back into your address, and we never see one — and it exists so that a page cannot be flooded with spam and so that a host can stop a sender who is abusing theirs

That is the whole list. There is no cookie on the invitation page, no analytics script, no pixel, and nothing that follows you anywhere else. We do not know what page you were on before, and we do not try to work out who you are.

Two people can act on your reply, and you can go to either. The family who made the page can read it, edit their page and delete it. We are the controller for this service, which means you can also come straight to us — write to tinynewlife@gmail.com and we will change or remove it without sending you back to the family to ask.

A page can be reached by anybody with the link, so treat anything you write there the way you would treat a message in a group chat. Guestbook messages only appear publicly once the family has read and approved them.

If you made a page

We hold:

  • Your account — your email address, your name if you gave one, and how you sign in. This is handled by Clerk, described below. We never see your password.
  • Your page — everything you typed into the editor, the photos you uploaded, your subdomain, and which design you chose. Photographs have their hidden camera data removed before they are uploaded, in your own browser. A photo taken on a phone normally carries the date, the camera, and the exact coordinates of where it was taken — which for a picture taken at home is your address. We make the photo smaller and re-save it before it leaves your device, so none of that ever reaches us or anybody you send the link to. On the rare phone that cannot re-save a photo, it is uploaded as it is.
  • Your guest list, if you made one, and every reply and message your guests left.
  • Records of what you bought, when paid plans are available.

We use this to run the service you asked for — that is the contract between us — and to keep proper business records where the law requires it. If we ever want to send you something that is not about your own event, we will ask first.

You are responsible for the personal information you put on your page or into your guest list. Adding somebody’s name and email to a guest list means you have a reason to have it. We ask that you only invite people who would expect an invitation from you.

If you write to us

The chat button on our own pages opens a live chat run by Crisp (Crisp IM SAS, in France), which keeps the conversation so we can answer it. Crisp loads only when you press the button, and from then it sets cookies on this site to keep your conversation open between pages; nothing of it runs if you never press it. If you are signed in, the chat is started with your account’s email address so we know who you are.

If the chat cannot load — some ad blockers stop it — the button sends your email address and message to our support inbox instead, with the address of the page you wrote from, and, if you are signed in, which account and pages are yours. We send one email to the address you give, confirming it arrived. Either way we use what you send to answer you and nothing else. The button is never on an invitation page.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
  • We do not run advertising, and there are no advertising trackers on any page.
  • We do not use anything you or your guests write to train machine-learning models.
  • We do not put analytics on invitation pages. There is nothing on a guest page measuring the guest.
  • We do not email your guests except to send an invitation or reply you asked us to send.

Who else handles it

Running this needs a handful of other companies. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job.

WhoWhat forWhat they hold
VercelHosting, photo storage, and counting visits to our own pagesPage requests, the photos you upload, and a daily count of page views
SupabaseThe databaseYour page, your guest list, and every reply
ClerkSigning hosts inHost email addresses and sign-in records. Not guests — guests have no account
ResendSending emailThe address an email goes to, and what is in it
CrispThe support chat on our own pagesWhat you write in the chat and the email address you give, only if you open it. Never on an invitation page
AnthropicChecking published pages against our rulesThe words a host writes on their page, when it is published or changed. Not guest replies, not email addresses, and nothing from a page that is still a draft

We are based in Kosovo. The servers we rent are in the UK and the EU and pages are served from London, which is a choice about speed rather than about law. Some of the companies above are based in the United States and may handle data there, under the standard safeguards in their contracts. We will list any new one here before it starts handling anything.

Cookies

Invitation pages set no cookies at all. That is deliberate, and it is why you have never seen a cookie banner on one. Nothing below applies to the page a guest opens — the rest of this section is about our own marketing pages.

Signing in to build a page sets a session cookie, so that you stay signed in. There is no way to run an account without one, and it does nothing else.

On our own marketing pages — the homepage, the guides, About, Privacy, Terms and the page where you pick a design — we count page views. Neither counter ever runs on an invitation page, or inside your account once you have signed in.

The first is Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookie and keeps nothing on your device: a view is counted against a code made from the request itself, which is discarded within a day.

The second is Google Analytics, and this one is worth reading. Outside Europe it sets a cookie named _ga on our own pages, so that a second visit is not counted as a second person. Inside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it is set to store nothing at all: it sends a count and no cookie, which is why you are still not being asked to agree to one. Every advertising feature it offers is turned off — nothing here is used to target adverts, at any time, anywhere — and your address is shortened before it is recorded.

If you would rather not be counted at all, a browser set to block third-party scripts, or Google’s own opt-out add-on, stops it. Nothing on the site behaves differently either way.

How long we keep things

  • Your page and its replies stay while your event is live, because the point of the product is that the same link carries on being useful. Deleting an event deletes its replies, messages, guest list and photos with it.
  • Your account stays until you close it. You can delete it yourself under your picture, in “Manage account” and its “Delete account” tab, and it goes at once with every page, reply, message and photograph in it. Or ask us, and we will do it for you.
  • Records of payments we keep as long as tax law requires, which is longer than either of the above.
  • Server logs are short-lived and kept only to find faults and abuse.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to what we are doing with it, or ask us to send it somewhere else. Write to tinynewlife@gmail.com and we will answer within a month.

This applies whether or not you have an account. If you only ever replied to somebody’s page, you still have every right listed above, and you exercise them by writing to the same address.

If you think we have got this wrong, you can complain to the Information and Privacy Agency of the Republic of Kosovo at aip.rks-gov.net. We would rather you told us first so we can fix it.

Children

These pages are about children, but they are not for children. You must be 18 to make a page. A baby’s name and photograph on a page were put there by their own family, which is the only way they should ever get there.

Guests are a different matter, and we would rather be plain about it than quiet. A reply form or a guestbook can be opened by anyone holding the link, and there are children at these events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. We do not ask anyone’s age, because this is a service for adults and asking every guest to prove an age would collect more about them, not less.

If we learn that a child under 13 has left a name, a message or anything else here, we delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child has left something on one of these pages, write to tinynewlife@gmail.com and tell us which page — we will remove it and confirm when it is gone. You do not need an account, and we will not ask you for anything beyond what we need to find it.

Changes

If we change anything that matters, we will change the date at the top and tell account holders by email. Carrying on using the service after that means the new version applies.
