Terms of service
Last updated 19 August 2026
The short version. Make a page, share it, and it stays yours — your words and your photographs belong to you. Do not put anything on it that would harm somebody, and do not claim to be a family you are not.
We can take down a page that breaks these rules. Beyond that we will leave you alone.
Who you are agreeing with
These terms are between you and tinynewlife, based in Kosovo, which runs tinynewlife. Using the service means you accept them. If you do not, do not use it.
You must be 18 or over to make a page. Guests replying to somebody else’s page are covered by the guest section below and need no account.
The reply form and the guestbook are not for children. If you are under 13, please do not put your name or a message on one of these pages. A host inviting children should reply on their behalf. If we learn that a child under 13 has left something here we delete it — a parent or guardian can ask us at tinynewlife@gmail.com and does not need an account to do it.
What the service is
tinynewlife gives you a web page on your own subdomain for an event around a new baby — a gender reveal, a shower, a birth announcement, a first birthday — which your guests can reply to without making an account. The same page carries on through those moments rather than being replaced.
Plans and what each includes are shown on the site. A free plan exists and has limits on how many replies and messages a page can take. Paid plans are bought once for an event rather than by subscription.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself; anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at tinynewlife@gmail.com if you think somebody else has got into it.
A subdomain is yours to use while your event is live. It is not a domain you own, we cannot promise any particular one is available, and we may refuse or reclaim one that is a brand, a public figure’s name, or somebody else’s to claim.
Paying
The free tier builds and previews; a paid plan publishes. A paid plan is a single payment that applies to one event — not to your account, and not to any other page you make. Two pages are two payments.
Prices are in US dollars. The price shown at checkout is the price, including any tax that applies to it. Paid plans unlock features on a single event and do not renew; there is no subscription to forget about.
A page goes live as soon as it is paid for, so you get what you bought straight away. If it does not do what the pricing page says it does, write to us and we will refund you — we would rather give the money back than argue about it. Wherever your own consumer law gives you a cancellation right, you keep it; nothing here removes one.
Your content stays yours
Your photographs, your words, your guest list — all yours. Nothing here transfers ownership of any of it.
You give us permission to store it, adapt it technically (resizing an image, making a link-preview card) and show it to people who open your page, for as long as your page is up. That permission exists only so the service can work, it is not exclusive, and it ends when you delete the content or your account. We will not use your photographs to advertise tinynewlife without asking you first.
You confirm you have the right to put up what you put up — that the photographs are yours or you have permission, and that anyone identifiable in them is content to be there.
What is not allowed
Do not use tinynewlife to:
- pretend to be a family, a person or an organisation you are not
- publish somebody else’s private information, or photographs of somebody who has not agreed
- harass, threaten, defame or single out anybody
- attack people for their race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, disability, sex, gender or sexuality, or use slurs about them
- publish pornography or sexually explicit material
- publish anything sexual involving children, or anything unlawful
- infringe copyright or trade marks
- send unsolicited bulk email through the invitation system
- run a business, a fundraiser or a sale that has nothing to do with an event about a baby
- attack the service, get into accounts that are not yours, or scrape it
Guests
Guests do not need an account and do not sign these terms to reply — but the rules above about what may be published apply to guestbook messages too. Messages only appear on a page once the host has approved them, and the host may take one down at any time.
As the host, you decide what happens to the replies your guests leave, and you are responsible for them. If a guest asks you to remove or correct something, do it.
Taking a page down
We can suspend or remove a page that breaks these terms, or that we are legally required to remove. A suspended page returns nothing to visitors; the host keeps their dashboard and is told why.
Published pages are checked automatically against the rules above, and a check may raise a page for us to look at. No page is ever taken down by that check alone — a person reads it and decides. Drafts are not checked at all.
We will normally tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. We will not where somebody is at risk, where the law requires immediate removal, or where warning you would defeat the point.
If you think we have suspended a page wrongly, reply to the notice or write to tinynewlife@gmail.com. A person reads it.
Keeping it running
We work hard to keep pages up, especially on the day of an event, but we do not promise the service will never be unavailable. We may change or stop features. If we stop something you paid for, we will refund the part you have not had.
Keep your own copies of your photographs. We take backups, but the only copy of a picture of your child should never be one held by anybody else, including us.
Where we stand if something goes wrong
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer stand whatever this page says.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: we are not liable for lost profit, lost business or indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem — or $50 if you are on the free plan.
Ending it
You can delete an event or close your account whenever you like; deleting an event removes its page, replies, messages, guest list and photos. We can end this agreement if you break these terms seriously or repeatedly.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and we will email account holders about anything significant. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and tell us — if you have paid for something you can no longer use, we will refund it.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Kosovo, and its courts have jurisdiction. Wherever you live, you keep whatever protections your own local consumer law gives you — nothing on this page takes those away.
