Free baby shower websites, and what is actually free
We make tinynewlife, one of the products on this list. Weigh what we say about it accordingly. Everything about the others comes from their own websites, read in September 2026; if their prices have changed since, theirs are the pages to believe.
"Free" means different things on different sites: free forever with a guest limit, free with adverts, free for the first fifty invitations, or free for a seven-day trial. For a baby shower those differences matter, because the invitation goes to the people you care about most. Here is what each one's free option really covers.
How we compared them
EventCreate
eventcreate.com
Price. Free forever for one event with up to 50 attendees. Paid plans from $5 a month.
An event website builder: a page with your details, a guest list, invitations, RSVPs and a registry link.
- Best forA small shower that should genuinely cost nothing.
- Not forMore than fifty guests on the free plan.
Evite
evite.com
Price. Free with adverts. Paid from $17.99 (12 guests) to $99.99 (750 guests), per event.
The best-known name in online invitations: send an invitation, collect replies, add a registry.
- Best forAn invitation everybody already recognises, at no cost if you do not mind adverts.
- Not forAnybody who minds adverts on the invitation — the free tier carries them.
Paperless Post
paperlesspost.com
Price. The first 50 invitations sent by email or phone are free. After that, from $0.50 to $1.44 a guest.
Beautifully designed digital cards — envelopes, liners, the card opening — with RSVP tracking.
- Best forA card that looks as good as paper, for up to fifty guests at no cost.
- Not forA page that stays up afterwards; the unit is the send.
Punchbowl
punchbowl.com
Price. A seven-day free trial, then a subscription: from $2.99–$5.99 a month (up to 50 guests per event) to $5.99–$11.99 (up to 500, and adverts removed).
Online invitations and cards with RSVP tracking, on a monthly membership with guest limits per event.
- Best forSomebody planning several events this year who wants one subscription.
- Not forFree — after the trial it is a subscription, and the lower tiers carry adverts.
WebBabyShower
webbabyshower.com
Price. $79 for six months or $129 for twelve, one-time. No free tier.
A shower website made for baby showers specifically: unlimited invitations, RSVPs, built-in games and video chat for a virtual shower, and co-hosts.
- Best forA virtual or hybrid shower with games and video built in.
- Not forFree — it is a paid product, and says so.
tinynewlife (ours)
Price. Free to build and preview, but not to publish: $99 (up to 250 replies, stays up two years) or $199 with no reply limit, kept for good. One payment, no subscription.
A shower page at your own address with the date, the place, replies, a guest list, a registry and a guestbook — and the same link becomes the birth announcement, then the first birthday invitation, keeping the photographs and messages. Fourteen designs, no adverts, no guest accounts.
- Best forA shower page that carries on as the announcement, so the same people get the news at the same address.
- Not forFree — the preview is free, publishing is not. For a shower that should cost nothing, EventCreate is the better choice.
The short answer
For a genuinely free shower page, EventCreate is the honest answer up to fifty guests. Evite is free if you accept adverts, and Paperless Post is free for the first fifty cards and prettier than anything else here.
Paying is worth it when you want no adverts, more guests, or something that lasts. WebBabyShower is the one built for virtual showers. tinynewlife is the one that turns into the birth announcement afterwards.
Questions
Is there a completely free baby shower website?
EventCreate's free plan is free forever for one event with up to fifty attendees. Evite is free if you accept adverts, and Paperless Post's first fifty invitations are free.
Do free baby shower websites have adverts?
Some do. Evite's free invitations carry adverts, and Punchbowl removes them only from its higher tiers. tinynewlife shows guests none. For the others, check their own pages before you choose.
Do guests need an account to reply?
Not on tinynewlife — guests open the link and reply. Check each of the others before you choose if that matters to you, because asking a grandparent to register is how a reply gets abandoned.
Is a baby shower website worth paying for?
If your shower is small and adverts do not bother you, probably not. It becomes worth it when you want no adverts, a larger guest list, games for a virtual shower, or a page that carries on after the shower is over.
